I'm an author, materials writer, teacher trainer and speaker based in London. Most of my time these days is taken up with writing ELT coursebooks, training teachers and giving talks. I'm also on the IATEFL Materials Writing Special Interest Group (MaWSIG) committee as social media and technology coordinator.

I've been in ELT for over twenty years now, working in Russia, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Poland and the UK.

My main interests are in exploiting the linguistic landscape as a resource for language learning and teaching strategies for developing language skills.
